My style has been described as uptown luxury, meets downtown edge, with a twist of European modernism. I believe in running Luxury Next Season according to my personal principles. Luxury Next Season is the ultimate reflection of me which is why I never stock anything I would not personally buy and wear. This is my golden rule.

Another aspect of Penny’s style and success that stands out is that she refuses to utilize the color black. In New York, this is practically the equivalent to refusing to eat anything that casts a shadow. The fashion phenom instead believes in implementing bright colors and bold patterns. “I believe that my business is the ultimate reflection of me, therefore I do not stock anything I would not personally buy,” she declared in a Markets Insider article on Businessinsider.com Rather than focusing solely on generating profits, Penny would rather take a loss if it means creating a style that greatly benefits her clients. It is her attention to the personal needs of her followers and her staunch observance of personal convictions that not only make her business strong, but establish her as a strong individual as well.
Penny Karabey is an unusual New Yorker as she never wears black. That is what she is called by NY Times Magazine. You will notice we stock very little in black, we believe that our business is the ultimate reflection of our founder, therefore we do not stock anything she would not personally wear. Luxury Next Season is curated by Penny Karabey. She searches for luxury fashion pieces for clients that are difficult to find in New York.
